Ski season has finally started and all mountain lovers are already on the snow.
I am here with some style tips for a flawless look, even in below zero degrees.
The first step is to choose a strategic suit: technical and high performance yes, but that doesn’t make you look like a Yeti!
Let’s start with colors: the ideal is to make the body slim by choosing a monochrome outfit.
It goes without saying that dark colors are slimming and make you look less awkward under all that padding.
A color that I find particularly chic for mountains is white: if you have a fairly slim silhouette, it’s a classy choice. As well as all silver shades.
If you love colors instead, try to not use too many together: at best, match color jacket – neutral pants (or vice versa). Then coordinate the rest on the same hues.
Regarding clothes, I recommend pants that aren’t too wide.
Tight ones are particularly beautiful , perhaps combined with snow boots with fur.
Under the jacket, avoid the usual polar fleece: I have rarely seen beautiful ones.
Opt instead for sweaters with braids or patterns with mountain themes (to use in fact only in the mountains).
Even when it snows, always remember to play with accessories.
They can simply add a touch of color, but also make your look elegant and refined: just a scarf, sunglasses that make you look like a diva or a particular headgear… and you are done!
Regarding accessories, snow boots have always to follow the same color of pants to optically lengthen the leg and give a more clean and tidy look to the whole outfit.
Shopping guide: try to buy the whole outfit at once to avoid putting pieces together that will not “communicate” with each other.
Same thing goes when you decorate the Christmas tree: have fun mixing shapes and patterns, but always with consistency of themes and colors.
And remember that classics never go out of fashion…
