As Simona Melani had anticipated us in our last course of New Trends, the leather trend has literally exploded!

I’ve always liked it, but now I feel I can not make it without it …

So here are some outfit ideas to follow the leather trend of this season:

LEATHER JACKET

Let’s start with a great wardrobe classic.

Who said it must necessarily be black? And who said it must be rock?

I really like it on a pencil skirt or cropped pants.

LEATHER TREND : OTHER COATS

For some time I’ve been looking for a leather trench coat; I like the idea of combining two great classics: the raincoat and the leather jacket.

It seems perfect for the autumn rainy days and I find it very versatile on different styles and for different occasions …

LEATHER LEGGINGS 

More than a trend, here we have an evergreen: trousers in (faux) leather are really stylish and anything but aggressive.

You can combine it with a low-heels shoe or a pair of décolleté, with boots or sneakers.

I advise you, however, to choose a matt finish, because a bright one would make you look bigger.

LEATHER SHORTS 

They are not easy, I know! But with opaque tights and an ankle boot, there is no risk of appearing vulgar.

I really like it combined with long and unstructured jackets or a simple sweater.

OTHER LEATHER TROUSERS 

But the real leather trend of this season is the leather trousers in all styles: cropped, flair, straight or wider.

Especially if colored, they are a more elegant variant compared to leggings or shorts. You can wear them also at work, if it is not a formal environment.

LEATHER SKIRT 

Pencil or flared, you just need a leather skirt to create a great-looking day look.

How to combine it? A light sweater or the classic white shirt to never make mistakes.

Shoes? Booties or combat boots make it more gritty; or instead the decidedly more feminine high heel …

LEATHER MINI SKIRT 

Per la minigonna in pelle stesso discorso degli shorts: con i giusti abbinamenti, non c’è rischio di strafare.

Punterei su collant spessi o ricamati (come questi a pois) e scarpe basse: a voi la scelta tra mocassini, sneakers o stivaletti.

LEATHER DRESSES

If you are thinking about  disco dresses or sexy shop accessoriesSe state pensando ad abitini da discoteca o accessori da sexy shop you are really out of the way!

The (faux) leather dress, from the classic sheath dress to the more flared model, is an original alternative for a daily look.

In black it is already more challenging, but the autumn palette can really surprise you!

LEATHER BOOTS

Let’s focus on the high boots, the cuissardes: of course, they are not for everyone, but not also for a few!

If you fear not being tall enough to wear them, try them with skinny trousers. And without strong chromatic cuts, so as not to break the legs’ lenght.

Choose them just above the knee and avoid those too large.

OTHER ACCESSORIES

If I have not convinced you yet and the clothing still seems too bold, try some special accessories.

Why not replace the old short gloves with a long pair to wear with three-quarter sleeve coats?

And what about a beret or a band / turban in (faux) leather? I point out those of Sine Modus …
