It’s wedding time and the most common question among friends is: what are you going to wear?
And here I come with some outfit ideas.

Let’s start today on what to wear at a morning wedding:

COLORS

For a morning ceremony, the ideal colors are the PASTEL ones: sky blue, pale beige pink, baby blue, sage green, mauve and light grey.

It’s known that it’s forbidden to wear white, dark and red dresses at weddings. But if your clothing wardrobe is total black, a good alternative is BLUE: navy blue or very dark blue.

PATTERNS

If the wedding is not particularly formal, in the morning we can choose a dress with patterns. As long as fabric, style and colors are ELEGANT.

FLORAL

And when we talk about patterns, how not to mention floral ones? The best are the ones with a BON TON style:

LACE

What to wear at a morning wedding at the beach or in the countryside? It’s easy: use lace!

It’s ROMANTIC and perfectly in keeping with the location. Be careful to transparencies.

SKIRT

Whether it’s a dress or a skirt, be CAREFUL TO THE HEM: not too high above the knee, not too long to the ground.

While we avoid mini skirts, even a long skirt is inappropriate at a morning ceremony.

PANTS

Who said you must wear a dress at weddings?

If you don’t like your legs or, simply you don’t usually wear skirts, you can choose an outfit with matching TOP AND PANTS.

Too casual fabrics are prohibited, like linel or denim. The outfit with a JACKET works too, but not the work blazers.

SHAWL

Whether it’s either a civil or religious ceremony, it’s always a GOOD RULE to go with your covered shoulders.

However, I have to confess I don’t love the classic shawls: I prefer a foulard or a little jacket.

But the smartest choice is choosing dresses that have already built a shawl in it.

BAGS

We’ve seen what to wear at a morning wedding. But what accessories do we match?

The bag has to be suitable for the DAYLIGHT, BUT ELEGANT. Yes to small and medium bags; no to shopping bags or evening clutches.

Have fun with colors, but be careful to fabrics: yes to different types of leather; no to straw, ideal for the beach.

SHOES

OPEN TOE OR CLOSED TOE shoes? Closed shoes are more elegant, but it depends on the tone of the wedding: if the ceremony is not too formal, sandals are fine too.

Wedges and any shoes with a rubber sole are absolutely prohibited.

HAT
